Target Readers

Nowadays social networking becomes a new trend of life. Almost every single of us has at least one social media account. Why? It is because the rapid change of information technology. As a result of that, social media is on the way of replacing the way of communication: from traditional form into a novel way of interacting.  

Back to the nature concept of social interaction, there are a number of types of social interaction. Okay, if you don’t understand with terms, I will make it easier to understand. Let’s say in the bigger context of life, we are going to meet various type of people. Put simply into two big division, those who are nice to us and good are friends; while those who humiliate and harm us are not friends. The first one is able to be classified into exchange (1) and cooperation (2). The second one is of type of conflict (3), coercion (4), competition (5).

What diffirentiates each of type social interaction is the way people act and react. For instance, two people are in the race of getting something done or achieved, that is competition because they are competing one another. Two people are helping each other, they are cooperating in particular purpose.

Now the treatment towards different people varies  for the respective type of social interaction. We can’t treat the way we treat our friends and our enemy. In particular, not all friends are truly friends to some extent because they are different in terms of its level of friendship. I have campus friends, dorm mates, friends from a number of communities and interests, and so forth. The way I treat them depends and contingent to the situation, even I use different language, greeting, way of summoning, and accent.

The thing that I want to say is that I always make costumized status. Social media websites that provide that kind of feature is concurently Facebook. The result of that is extremely awesome. I can make a target readers when they are costumized to see my status. Surprisingly those who at the beginning I made them to be targeted are making comment upon my status, or not least giving the like. I made status about economics, social isssues, religion, love, and so on. Every single topic is designed to have specific readers that they are intended to make a comment. And it successfully works!
